Weddings, Birthdays & Private Celebrations

Let the guests who cannot travel watch your day from one link.

A wedding, a birthday or a baby shower happens once, and some of the people who matter live far away. Go live from the browser of a phone or a computer, send one watch link to your guests, choose who may open it, and keep the recording for those who watch later.

What you get

Couples, families, hosts of birthdays and baby showers, celebrants and the relative who offered to film

Go live from a phone, with no encoder

Camera mode puts the celebration on air straight from the browser of a phone or a computer, without installing an encoder. On a phone you can switch between the front and the back camera, the browser keeps trying to reconnect if the connection drops, and Stop ends the broadcast itself, so nobody is left waiting on a dead stream.

One link for every guest

Every broadcast has one watch link. Guests open it in a browser, so send it a few days ahead and let the grandparents try it on their own device. You can also place the player on your wedding or family website with a short embed code: by default it works on any website, or you can list the domains where it may appear.

Choose who may watch

Open the broadcast only to the people you choose: a key for each household or one shared key for the whole family. A single-guest key plays on one device at a time, a guest who arrives with a valid key before the start is told that it has not begun yet, and you can switch any key off whenever you like.

Keep the recording for guests in other time zones

A standard broadcast is recorded automatically, and the replay opens on the same link after the live ends. Relatives who were asleep during the vows can watch the next morning, without a new link.

Plan for a celebration longer than an hour

On the FREE plan a single broadcast runs for one hour from Start, and a ceremony with speeches and a first dance often runs longer. For one event you can buy a one-off pass for that broadcast: it gives the broadcast STAR limits for a set number of hours from payment, with no subscription and without interrupting a broadcast that is already running. Or choose a plan. The pricing page shows the current amounts and limits.

How it works

01

Create the broadcast and rehearse

Create the broadcast in your dashboard. The day before, run a short private test from the same phone or computer, at the venue and on the same network you will use on the day.

02

Invite your guests

Send the watch link a few days ahead and write the start time in the time zone of each guest who lives abroad. If the celebration is only for the family, create access keys, one for each household, and send everyone their code.

03

Go live

Open camera mode, check the picture and the sound, and press Start. Keep the phone plugged in and the browser in front for the whole celebration, and ask one person who is not a guest to hold the camera.

04

End the broadcast and share the replay

Press Stop: the broadcast ends and viewers are not left waiting. Switch the access keys off if you wish, and send the replay link to everyone who could not watch live.
