Crypto Payments & AML Acceptance Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This policy explains how cryptocurrency payments work on DCAST (dcast.tv, dcast.pro) when you choose to pay with crypto. It supplements, and forms part of, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. By paying with cryptocurrency you accept the terms below in addition to those documents.

1. What you can pay for with crypto

Crypto payment is offered for DCAST platform subscriptions ("tariffs" — STAR, PRO, VIP): a direct charge to DCAST for access to the platform's digital streaming and video infrastructure services. Prices are set and displayed in US dollars (USD) and converted to the cryptocurrency you select at checkout. There is no physical product and no shipping — you are buying access to a digital service that is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed on-chain.

2. Payment processor

Crypto payments are processed by our third-party crypto payment provider, NOWPayments (operated by ChangeNOW B.V.), a non-custodial cryptocurrency payment gateway. When you choose to pay with crypto:

  • You are redirected to, or shown, a NOWPayments-hosted checkout page where you select a supported coin/network and send the exact amount shown to the address provided.
  • DCAST does not take custody of your private keys and does not receive or store your wallet credentials. NOWPayments handles the on-chain transaction and notifies DCAST when the payment is confirmed.
  • The supported coins, networks and minimum amounts are those enabled on our NOWPayments account and shown to you at checkout (typically major coins and USD-pegged stablecoins such as USDT and USDC on common networks).

3. How a crypto payment works

3.1. You pick a plan, choose crypto as the payment method, and are shown the amount due (USD value converted to your chosen coin) and a destination address (and, where applicable, a memo/tag).

3.2. The exchange rate is locked for a short window displayed at checkout. If you send the payment after that window or send a different amount, the value credited is based on the amount actually received and the network confirmation time.

3.3. Blockchain network ("gas") fees are paid by you, the sender. The amount that must arrive at the address is the amount shown; fees deducted by your wallet/exchange in addition to that are your responsibility.

3.4. Your plan is activated automatically once the transaction is confirmed on-chain and NOWPayments notifies us. Confirmation can take from seconds to, depending on the network and congestion, longer; your purchase completes when settlement is confirmed, not when you click "send".

3.5. Underpayment / overpayment. If less than the required amount arrives, the order may remain unsettled until topped up, or be treated as failed. Overpayments and partial payments are handled according to NOWPayments' settlement rules and may require contacting our support (see §8).

4. Irreversibility — no chargebacks

Cryptocurrency transactions are, by their nature, irreversible. Once a crypto payment is broadcast and confirmed on the blockchain it cannot be reversed, cancelled or charged back by you, by DCAST, or by the payment processor. Please double-check the coin, network and amount before sending. Sending the wrong coin, using the wrong network, or sending to a mistyped address can result in permanent, irrecoverable loss of funds for which DCAST is not responsible.

5. Refunds

5.1. Crypto payments are governed by the same Refund & Cancellation Policy as our other payment methods, with the practical differences that follow from §4.

5.2. Where a refund is due under that policy (for example, a duplicate charge, a service not delivered as described, or an eligible subscription refund within the stated window), the refund is issued in cryptocurrency to a wallet address you provide. The refunded amount is calculated as the USD value of the original payment, paid out in crypto at the exchange rate at the time the refund is processed — so the number of coins returned may differ from the number you sent because of price movement between purchase and refund.

5.3. Blockchain network fees applicable to a refund payout may be deducted from the refunded amount.

5.4. We can only refund to a wallet address you supply and confirm; we cannot "reverse" the original transaction.

6. AML, sanctions and eligibility

6.1. DCAST and NOWPayments operate an anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist- financing programme. Crypto payments are screened, and we work only with low- and normal-risk transactions.

6.2. You may not use crypto payments if you are located in, or acting on behalf of any person or entity in, a sanctioned jurisdiction, or if you appear on any applicable sanctions list. You confirm that the funds you use are lawfully yours and are not the proceeds of any unlawful activity.

6.3. For crypto-only payments, identity verification (KYC) is generally not required. However, if a transaction is flagged as suspicious, or where required by law or by the payment processor, you may be asked to complete a KYC/KYB verification before the payment is settled or a refund is released. A transaction that cannot be cleared may be rejected or returned net of any network fees.

7. Privacy

We process the minimum data needed to complete a crypto payment (the order, the amount, the payment/transaction identifiers and status returned by NOWPayments, and — for a refund — the wallet address you provide). We do not receive your private keys. NOWPayments processes the transaction under its own privacy and AML/KYC policies. See our Privacy Policy for how DCAST handles your data.

8. Contact

For any question about a crypto payment, a missing or delayed settlement, or a refund:

The DCAST legal entity and full requisites are listed in our contact / requisites section. For crypto tariff payments the merchant of record is PROFIGROUP LLC (the same international merchant of record as our card/PayPal payments).

9. Governing language

This policy is drafted in English, which is the governing and legally binding language. Any translation is provided for convenience only; in case of conflict, the English version prevails.
