Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 20 June 2026

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work on DCAST (dcast.tv, dcast.pro) across all supported payment methods — Stripe, PayPal, plata by mono (Monobank / АТ «Універсал Банк»), and cryptocurrency (via NOWPayments). It applies to both DCAST platform subscriptions ("tariffs") and to paid content sold by creators on the platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service; for payments made via plata by mono, of the Public Offer (Universal Bank); and for crypto payments, of the Crypto Payments & AML Policy.

1. Who you are paying

DCAST supports two kinds of payment, and who issues a refund depends on which one it is:

  • Platform subscriptions (DCAST tariffs — STAR, PRO, VIP). You are paying DCAST. DCAST handles these refunds directly.
  • Creator content (subscriptions, pay-per-view, tickets, bookings, tips). You are paying the creator, who is the merchant of record. Payments are processed directly to the creator's connected gateway account (Stripe Connect, PayPal, or a Monobank sub-merchant), and the creator is responsible for refunds, subject to the rules below.

2. Platform subscription refunds

2.1. You may cancel a paid tariff at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period.

2.2. A new subscription charge may be refunded within 14 days of payment if you have not materially used the paid capabilities of the plan during that period.

2.3. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new period has begun, except where required by applicable law.

2.4. When a subscription payment is refunded, the associated plan is automatically downgraded to FREE and any plan-gated capabilities are revoked (this is automated on our side).

3. Creator content refunds

3.1. Because the creator is the merchant of record, the creator sets the refund terms for their own content, within the limits of this policy and applicable consumer-protection law.

3.2. Digital content delivered immediately (on-demand videos, completed live events, downloads) is generally non-refundable once access has been granted, unless the content was not delivered as described or was inaccessible due to a fault on our or the creator's side.

3.3. Live classes, bookings and events may be cancelled and refunded according to the cancellation window the creator displays at checkout. If the creator cancels the event, you receive a full refund.

3.4. To request a creator refund, contact the creator first; if unresolved, contact DCAST support (see §6) and we will help mediate.

4. How refunds are issued per payment method

Refunds are always returned to the original payment method used:

  • Stripe — refunded to the original card via Stripe; typically 5–10 business days to appear.
  • PayPal — refunded to the original PayPal account or card via PayPal.
  • plata by mono (Monobank / Universal Bank) — refunded to the original card through the Bank. Processing order and timelines are determined by the Bank and the card schemes.
  • Cryptocurrency (NOWPayments) — crypto transactions are irreversible and cannot be charged back. Where a refund is due, it is paid out in cryptocurrency to a wallet address you provide, for the USD value of the original payment at the exchange rate when the refund is processed (the number of coins returned may therefore differ from what you sent), less any blockchain network fee. See the Crypto Payments & AML Policy §5.

For card methods we do not refund to a different card or account than the one originally charged; for crypto we can only refund to a wallet address you supply and confirm.

5. Failed, duplicate or unauthorised charges

5.1. Duplicate charges caused by a technical error are refunded in full on request.

5.2. If you believe a charge was unauthorised, contact us immediately at the address in §6 so we can investigate before you open a dispute with your bank or payment provider.

6. Contact

For any refund or cancellation request, contact DCAST support:

7. Governing language
