1.5 Signing in with Facebook or Instagram (Meta)

DCAST (operated by PROFIGROUP LLC) lets you create an account and sign in using Facebook Login or Instagram Login. When you choose this, we receive only the information needed to authenticate you and set up your account:

  • Facebook: your name, profile picture, and email address (shared with your consent via the email and public_profile permissions).
  • Instagram: your Instagram username, profile information, and Instagram user ID (via the instagram_business_basic permission). Instagram does not share your email address with us, so we ask you to add a real email address inside your DCAST account.

We use this data solely to create and identify your account and to log you in (lawful basis: performance of our contract with you). We do not post to your social accounts or access any data beyond what is listed above. You can disconnect at any time by removing DCAST from your Facebook or Instagram app settings, which automatically sends us a deletion signal, or by requesting deletion at https://dcast.tv/legal/data-deletion.


2. How We Use Your Information
