Run your creator site on your own domain
On the PRO and VIP plans, your creator site can answer on a domain you own, once Cloudflare confirms that the domain is really yours.
A domain of your own lets your audience find your videos and broadcasts at an address that belongs to your brand.
Your own domain is part of the PRO and VIP plans; on FREE, the request stops at the plan check.
The domain counts as verified only when Cloudflare reports its zone as active, not when a name merely looks right.
Until that check passes, the domain is not treated as yours anywhere on the platform.
Once verified, a visitor who opens your domain lands on your creator site and sees it branded as yours.
Share links for your videos and broadcasts then use your domain first, ahead of your platform subdomain.
While the domain waits for verification, your share links keep using your platform subdomain.
Watch pages and embed links of your content are addressed on your own site once the domain is verified.
Pages that are not meant for viewers, such as your dashboard and broadcast settings, stay on the platform address.
Checkout for your paid content is accepted on your verified domain and on its subdomains, so a buyer can pay without leaving your address.
Look-alike addresses that only resemble your domain are refused at checkout, which protects your buyers from copycat pages.
Platform addresses themselves can never be claimed as somebody's custom domain.
An entry that is not a valid domain name is refused with a clear message before anything is saved.
Pick a short domain you already use in your marketing, so your audience recognizes it in a link.
Plan the change a few days before a big event, because DNS changes can take time to reach every network.
On the PRO and VIP plans, the footer of your site's pages shows no "Powered by DCAST" line.
On the PRO and VIP plans, your site's footer carries your name and not the DCAST brand.
Many creators want their site to feel like their own brand, from the first screen down to the last line of the page.
The platform decides this from your plan on the server, so the footer does not depend on a setting someone could forget to switch.
Visitors never receive your plan details: the page is only told whether to hide the platform credit.
On FREE and STAR, the footer keeps the platform credit exactly as it was.
Check that your display name is the one you want visitors to remember, because the footer shows your name.
A site without a platform credit is easier to present as your own business to sponsors, clients and partners.
Moving from STAR to PRO removes the credit from your footer without any redesign on your part.
