Control which notifications you receive

Choose which emails and in-app alerts DCAST sends you, so your inbox stays relevant.

Before you start

  • You are signed in to DCAST.

Steps

  1. 1Open the account menu → Settings, or navigate directly to Notifications from the menu.
  2. 2You see a list of notification types: new subscriber, stream started, comment, billing, security alerts.
  3. 3Toggle each type on or off depending on what you want to receive.
  4. 4Security alerts (sign-in from new device, password changes) should stay on — these protect your account.
  5. 5Subscriber and payment notifications are important for tracking your growth.
  6. 6Stream and comment notifications can be turned off if you manage high volumes.
  7. 7Click Save.

Expected result

You only receive notifications that are relevant to you, without unnecessary emails.

Common problems

I turned off notifications but still receive emails.

Check your email client — some messages may already be in your inbox. Future ones should stop.

I am not receiving important alerts.

Check that security and billing notifications are turned on. Also check your spam folder.

I cannot find the notification settings.

Open the account menu (top right) → Settings. Notifications may be in a separate tab within settings.
