Export your account data
Download a copy of your DCAST data — useful for records, backups, or moving content.
Before you start
- You are signed in to your account.
Steps
- 1Open Settings → Privacy or Data.
- 2Find the Data Export section.
- 3Click Request Data Export.
- 4DCAST prepares your data package — this can take a few minutes.
- 5You receive an email when the download is ready.
- 6Click the download link in the email or return to this settings page to download.
- 7Your data includes profile information, content metadata, and analytics summaries.
Expected result
You receive a downloadable archive of your account data.
Common problems
The download email did not arrive.
Check your spam folder. Wait 10 minutes — large accounts take longer to prepare.
The download link expired.
Request a new export from the same settings page.
I need my actual video files, not just metadata.
Data export includes metadata only. Your video files are available to download from the Videos section.
