Live interactive sessions

Manage the session with host controls

Keep your room organized by muting, removing, or moderating participants.

Before you start

  • You have joined the room as host or moderator.
  • Participants are in the room.

Steps

  1. 1Open the participant list — look for the people icon in the room controls.
  2. 2To mute someone creating background noise, click their name and choose Mute.
  3. 3To remove a disruptive participant, click their name and choose Remove.
  4. 4Use the chat panel to post announcements without interrupting the audio.
  5. 5Use hand raise to manage who speaks next in large sessions.
  6. 6To end the session for everyone, click End Room.

Expected result

You can keep the session focused and respond to issues without disrupting the flow of the event.

Common problems

A participant is making noise and does not respond.

Mute them directly from the participant list — they will see a notification.

I accidentally removed the wrong person.

Send the room link again so they can rejoin.

Participants keep talking over each other.

Enable hand raise and ask everyone to mute themselves until called on.
