Live interactive sessions

Make sessions interactive with polls, reactions, and more

Run live polls and quizzes, collect reactions, use the whiteboard, and split into breakout groups.

Before you start

  • The room is active.
  • Participants know how to use the session tools.

Steps

  1. 1Open the room controls or side panel — look for the toolbar at the bottom or right.
  2. 2Click the Reactions icon to let participants send emojis live.
  3. 3Click Hand Raise to allow participants to signal they want to speak.
  4. 4Click Poll to create a quick question — type the question and answer options, then launch it.
  5. 5Click Quiz to run a knowledge check with scored answers.
  6. 6Click Whiteboard to open a shared drawing canvas for visual explanations.
  7. 7Click Breakout Rooms to split participants into smaller groups for discussions.
  8. 8Each tool has a Close or End button — use it when you are done with that activity.

Expected result

Participants can interact in structured ways and the host can keep the session moving productively.

Common problems

Participants do not see the poll.

Make sure you launched the poll — creating it is not the same as publishing it to participants.

Poll results look wrong or incomplete.

Wait until participants have all submitted before closing the poll.

Breakout rooms caused confusion.

Before moving participants, clearly explain what each group should do and how long they have.
