Starting Soon, Be Right Back & Stream Ending Screens

Make a full-screen scene for the moments between your live content: a starting soon screen with a countdown, a be right back screen and a stream ending screen. Pick the colors, add a timer, copy the link and paste it into any streaming app that has a browser source.

Text and timer

The minute timer starts when the source loads. To restart it each time you switch to the scene, turn on your streaming app’s option to refresh the source when the scene becomes active.

Preview

The screen exactly as the source draws it, scaled to fit. The checkerboard shows transparent areas; switch the backdrop to check the text on a dark and on a bright scene.

Browser source link

Add it to your streaming app in four steps

  1. Copy the link above.
  2. In your streaming app, add a browser (web page) source to the scene you want for this screen.
  3. Paste the link into the URL field and set the width and height to 1920 × 1080.
  4. Confirm. The screen fills the source; switch to this scene whenever you need it.

How to make a starting soon or be right back screen

Choose the screen, edit the title and the line under it, and set the colors. A transparent background lets your own scene show through; a solid color gives you a ready scene on its own. The countdown is optional: count a number of minutes from the moment the source loads, or count down to a date and time. The preview shows the screen on a checkerboard, a dark scene and a bright scene, so you can check that the text is readable before you copy the link.

The link opens a plain page that fills the browser source. Every setting is stored in the link itself, so there is no account and nothing is saved on our servers. It works in any streaming app that can show a web page as a source, including OBS Studio, TikTok LIVE Studio, vMix, Streamlabs Desktop, Wirecast and XSplit. Make one scene per screen and switch between them while you stream.

Q:How do I add the screen to my streaming app?
A:Copy the link, add a browser (web page) source to a new scene, paste the link into the URL field and set the size to 1920 × 1080. The screen fills the source, so it needs no cropping.
Q:Does the countdown restart when I switch scenes?
A:The minute timer starts when the source loads. Most apps keep the page running, so it keeps counting while the scene is hidden. If your app has an option to refresh the source when its scene becomes active, turn it on and the timer starts again each time you switch to the scene.
Q:Can I count down to a specific time?
A:Yes. Choose Until a date and time, and the timer counts to that moment in any time zone, because the link carries the exact instant. When it reaches zero it stays at 00:00.
Q:Can the screen be transparent?
A:Yes. Set Background to Transparent and the title, the line under it and the timer are drawn over your scene. Use the dark and bright backdrops in the preview to check that the text reads well.
