Stream Lab

Stream Lab merges link check, health summary, and playlist inspection into one layout: analyze the manifest, read variant bandwidths and URIs, then watch the same URL in the embedded player while telemetry streams to the side panel. Share links embed a snapshot of the last analysis (`?r=`).

Q:Is this only for HLS?

A:Playlist analysis targets HLS (.m3u8). Playback uses the same player stack as /watch. For MPEG-DASH, use the DASH / MPD Checker tool.

Q:Why does Analyze fail but the player works?

A:Analyze runs fetch() from this origin. Some CDNs allow segment CORS for players but block manifest reads, or the opposite. Try fullscreen player or test from your own domain.

Q:Do you store my URL?

A:No. Everything runs in your browser except optional “explain error” which sends a short text to our API.
