Your creator website

What is Site Customization and why it matters

Understand what your creator website is, what it looks like to visitors, and why it is important.

Before you start

  • You have a DCAST account.
  • You are signed in and on the dashboard.

Steps

  1. 1Open the account menu (top right of the dashboard) and click Site Customization.
  2. 2This is your public creator website — it is the page visitors see when they find your channel.
  3. 3It shows your profile, your latest streams and videos, and lets viewers subscribe.
  4. 4Every DCAST creator gets a unique URL — for example dcast.tv/your-username.
  5. 5Customize it so it matches your brand: add a logo, pick colors, write a description.
  6. 6Preview your site at any time by clicking the View Public Page button.
  7. 7Changes are saved as drafts until you publish — take your time to get it right.

Expected result

You understand what your creator website is and can find the customization tools.

Common problems

I cannot find Site Customization.

Click your profile picture or name in the top right of the dashboard, then look for Site Customization in the dropdown menu.

I see my site but it looks empty.

Add a profile picture, banner image, and description first — these make the biggest visual impact.

My public URL is not the one I want.

Open your Account Settings and look for the Username section to change your URL slug.
