Group videos into collections on your site

Make named rows of videos β€” for example Beginners or Last season β€” that visitors see as sections of your creator site.

Before you start

  • Your creator site is activated.
  • The videos you want to group are turned on for your site in the Site Content tab.
  • Only videos that are public, for subscribers or for a tier are shown in a collection; private and link-only videos are left out.

Steps

  1. 1
Open your account menu (your avatar), click Site Customization and open the Site Content tab.
  2. 2
Scroll down to Collections. Type a name into the field, for example Beginners, and click Create rail.
  3. 3
Click Add videos on the new rail. The list shows your on-site videos; ones already added are marked Already in rail. Pick the videos and click Done.
  4. 4
Use Reorder video and Remove from rail to arrange the videos inside a rail, and Move up or Move down to change the order of the rails.
  5. 5
Rename changes the name of a rail. Delete rail removes the section only β€” the videos stay in your library.
  6. 6
Open your public site to see the collections as sections.

Expected result

Your creator site shows each collection as a named section with the videos in the order you set.

Common problems

Add videos says there are no on-site videos.

Turn the videos on for your site in the Site Content block above the collections first.

A video I added does not appear on my site.

It is private, link-only or not ready yet. Make it public, for subscribers or for a tier, and wait until it has finished processing.

Create rail does nothing.

Type a name first β€” a rail needs one, up to 200 characters.
