Your creator website

Connect your own domain name

Point your personal domain (like yourchannel.com) to your DCAST creator page.

Before you start

  • You own a domain name (purchased from a domain registrar like Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.).
  • You have access to the DNS settings for that domain.
  • You are on a plan that includes the custom domain feature.

Steps

  1. 1Open Site Customization → Custom Domain.
  2. 2Enter your domain name in the field — for example yourchannel.com.
  3. 3DCAST will show you a DNS record to add — usually a CNAME pointing to DCAST servers.
  4. 4Log in to your domain registrar and open the DNS management panel.
  5. 5Add the CNAME record exactly as shown in DCAST.
  6. 6Save the DNS change.
  7. 7Return to DCAST and click Verify — DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
  8. 8Once verified, your DCAST creator page is accessible at your own domain.

Expected result

Visitors who type your domain name in a browser land on your DCAST creator page.

Common problems

Verification keeps failing.

DNS changes take time. Wait a few hours and try again. Use a DNS lookup tool to confirm the CNAME is live.

My domain shows a blank page.

Make sure your public site is published in Site Customization before connecting a custom domain.

I do not know how to edit DNS records.

Search for "[your registrar] how to add CNAME record" — every registrar has a guide for this.
