Your creator website
Connect your own domain name
Point your personal domain (like yourchannel.com) to your DCAST creator page.
Before you start
- You own a domain name (purchased from a domain registrar like Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.).
- You have access to the DNS settings for that domain.
- You are on a plan that includes the custom domain feature.
Steps
- 1Open Site Customization → Custom Domain.
- 2Enter your domain name in the field — for example yourchannel.com.
- 3DCAST will show you a DNS record to add — usually a CNAME pointing to DCAST servers.
- 4Log in to your domain registrar and open the DNS management panel.
- 5Add the CNAME record exactly as shown in DCAST.
- 6Save the DNS change.
- 7Return to DCAST and click Verify — DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
- 8Once verified, your DCAST creator page is accessible at your own domain.
Expected result
Visitors who type your domain name in a browser land on your DCAST creator page.
Common problems
Verification keeps failing.
DNS changes take time. Wait a few hours and try again. Use a DNS lookup tool to confirm the CNAME is live.
My domain shows a blank page.
Make sure your public site is published in Site Customization before connecting a custom domain.
I do not know how to edit DNS records.
Search for "[your registrar] how to add CNAME record" — every registrar has a guide for this.
