Multi-destination streaming

Create a restream flow

Set up the container that holds your source and all the destinations for your multi-platform broadcast.

Before you start

  • You are signed in to the dashboard.
  • You know the event name or show title.
  • You have decided which source will feed the restream.

Steps

  1. 1Open Restream from the dashboard navigation.
  2. 2Click Create Restream or Create Flow.
  3. 3Give the flow a clear name — for example "Sunday Service" or "Product Launch".
  4. 4Choose the source type: an existing DCAST stream, or a direct RTMP input.
  5. 5If you choose an existing stream, select it from the list.
  6. 6Click Save.
  7. 7The flow now appears in the Restream section. Open it to add destinations.

Expected result

A restream flow card appears in the list. It shows your source and is ready for destinations to be added.

Common problems

My source stream does not appear in the list.

Create the source stream first in the Streams section, then come back and select it here.

I saved but the flow is not showing.

Refresh the Restream page.

I chose the wrong source.

Open the flow settings and change the source before you go live.
