Earn from your content

Read your revenue analytics

See where your income comes from by period, content, country and source, with subscriber churn and the checkout funnel, and download each section as a CSV file.

Before you start

  • You are signed in and your account is on the VIP plan. On FREE, STAR and PRO the tab shows a notice instead of figures.
  • Monetization is set up and at least one payment has been processed. Without sales the sections say there are no sales in the period.

Steps

  1. 1
Open Monetization in the dashboard and click the Revenue tab.
  2. 2
Pick the period with the buttons 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or Year, or choose any dates with the date picker. The tab opens on the last 90 days, and a period can be at most 366 days.
  3. 3
Choose how the chart is grouped: Day, Week or Month.
  4. 4
Read the four cards at the top: Gross with the number of payments, Net after fees and refunds, MRR (the monthly recurring revenue of your active subscriptions) and Churn (subscribers who cancelled, against those who were active at the start).
  5. 5
Look at the chart Net revenue by kind of sale. Hover over a bar to see the amount of each kind: Video, Live stream, Course, Tip, Booking and Subscription.
  6. 6
Open Top content to see which items earn the most, with sales, gross, refunds, net and average sale.
  7. 7
Read the Subscriptions block: new and cancelled subscribers, churn, revenue per paying subscriber and trials converted to paid.
  8. 8
Read the Checkout funnel: how many checkouts were opened, paid, expired and are still open, and the conversion for each item.
  9. 9
Check Countries and Traffic sources to see where paid orders come from.
  10. 10
To keep a section, click its CSV button. The file follows the period and grouping on the screen.

Expected result

You see your income for the chosen period by time, content, country and source, and you can download any section as a CSV file.

Common problems

The tab says revenue analytics is not part of my plan.

It comes with the VIP plan. Click See plans to compare plans. Your totals stay on the Overview tab.

The totals are lower than I expected.

Only payments in US dollars are added up. Payments in other currencies are counted apart and are not converted into the totals.

A section says there are no sales in this period.

Widen the period with 90 days or Year, or pick other dates.

I am a team member and I do not see figures.

The figures are the channel owner's. You need the permission to view billing, and the owner's plan must be VIP.

The CSV could not be prepared.

Click the CSV button again. If it keeps failing, open a support ticket and name the section and the period.
